Be still, my live cobra heart

Here's a mini-interview with Anthony Bourdain on his love for Vietnamese food.

From Shitfight to Three Stars

This is the best article on Gordon Ramsay I've read since I started this blog. It presents a side of Ramsay other than a foulmouthed and demanding chef, on his pursuit of three Michelin stars.

30 seconds for 30 Minutes

Here's a good interview with Rachael Ray. The most interesting thing from the interview is the story of her rise to fame. Sorry fellas, she's engaged.

Plus, sexy pic for my loyal readers:

Young Pigeons and old chefs

... you don't see them. Here's a good interview with Anthony Bourdain by the Miami New Times while he's at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. I especially enjoy his views on anti-foie gras activists, and what he'd like do to them.

But wait, there's even more Rocco!

Rocco, some career advice: Lay low for a while, do something to pay the bills, and then make a triumphant comeback.

What not to do: Offer your services at a charity auction and expect anything other than amused interest.

Falling asleep in the kitchen?

Yes faithful readers of the report, it has a been quiet week in the world of celebrity Uber chefs. However, this article caught my eye. Apparently aspiring home cooks in the UK have been hurting themselves, destroying their kitchens, and falling asleep while attempting to emulate Nigella Lawson and Gordon Ramsay.

I can understand burning your kitchen down, but falling asleep behind the stove? C'mon people!

Bourdain based TV project finally underway

I remember a few years ago rumor had it that Anthony Bourdain's best-selling "Kitchen Confidential" was optioned into a movie. Possibly titled "Seared" and starring none other than Brad Pitt.

Well, that never happened, but the creative forces behind "Sex and the City" are producing a pilot for Fox TV. Here's hoping that Fox picks up the pilot, and the show is true to debauchery, dark humor, and gritty reality portrayed in the book.

New York Strip Steaks, Bobby Flay style

Bobby left the bachelor world with a fine feast for the tummy and the eyes. I like my strippers medium rare. Scroll to bottom of article.

Giada In Delaware

I've recently become a fan of Giada De Laurentiis, mostly because I really like Italian food, and her propensity to wear tight, low-cut tops. If I lived in Philly, I'd be certain to check out her at the Book and Cook dinner on March 20th.
Other big names such as Rick Bayless, Tyler Florence and Ming Tsai will be there and the festivities run from March 11 - 20.

More Rocco

Sometimes, I think that Rocco Dispirito was born for this blog, or maybe this blog was born for Rocco. Check this article for how the Roc-man is still a big draw with the ladies.

New Job for Rocco

Rocco has gone from making an ass of himself to doing a guest-star voice stint on the Disney Channel's "Higglytown" airing during the Super Bowl haftime.
