I missed this one
I haven't had my eye on Paula Deen to make news of any note. Normally, I prefer the scandal and idiocy of Rocco, and Bobby Flay's smarmy smile. So I was caught totally off guard during the previews when I went to see "Thumbsucker" on Friday. There she was, Paula Deen, in a supporting role in "Elizabethtown". According to Cameron Crowe, she "totally nailed the part" of Aunt Dora, "..the nurturing matriarch of a Kentucky family."
