The Real Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmare
The TV brutalization of neophyte chefs by celebrity chefs such as Gordon Ramsay has led to a decline in enrollment of food and catering courses in Scotland.
Queen Margaret University College of Edinburgh has shut down its Food Science Dept as only a handful of students have signed up, as opposed to the normal 200-300.
Perhaps my fellow blogger Chef Dakine is right, Mr. Ramsay has brought the profession back many years, and giving chefs a bad name.
Also blamed is McDonalds, for "damaging the image of the food trade."
