Tom Dispirito Cruise?

Ha ha.. rumors abound of Jai Rodriguez of Queer Eye and Rocco Dispirito getting cuddly.
Both deny it, and I am hard pressed to believe it. Rocco is a huge perv with the ladies. But you know, maybe it gets old?

What is this, Chili's?

Chef Thomas Keller of French Laundry fame is instituting an automatic 20% service charge at his Manhattan restaurant, Per Se on all orders. Let's see, starting at $175 per person at a six person table (the minimum at Chili's for auto-service charges), then how about $50* a person for wine. That's a $270.00 tip! Too bad the server's gotta share it with the lowlife line cooks and food runners!

Ya, I know, it's probably way more.

Bar Ameri-Ain't?

Now, normally I wouldn't post a review of a celeb chef's restaurant, but this is on Bobby Flay's latest venture, "Bar Americain". It shows he might be slipping in his management of food and service quality. Now, I don't want Bobby to fail, but I also saw this coming when posting about his venture in Atlantis. Don't stretch yourself too thin, pal.

Gordo, come back for another

Fox TV is asking Gordon Ramsay back for another season of Hell's Kitchen. I didn't get to see as many episodes as I would have liked, so here's hoping that it comes back and it's as entertaining as the first one. I bet the contestants will be more girded for Ramsay's verbal abuse.

Closed for renovations

Dear readers,

My home computer has been suffering from an infestation of viruses and the poor thing was barely alive a week ago. Luckily, an intern at HP took one look and healed her with his touch. Now, the "Report" is back open with no reservations:

Check out this profile of Sydney's Bill Granger. Aside from the lovely Nigella, I tend to focus mostly on stateside chefs. Having been to both his eateries, I can tell you that his food is some of the best I've tasted. He is the "celeb chef" I'd like to see more of... they type that actually owns and operates their own restaurants.
