Little Celeb Chef Snippets
Thomas Keller of French Laundry Fame will speak at the "California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation's 2006 ProStart Culinary Competition". It's a nifty little competition pulling in top high school students across California in a culinary battle.

Mario Batali, Todd English and Nigella Lawson all contributed to the Today show's "Today’s Kitchen Cookbook", (Meredith Books, $24.95). Over a 120 recipes and the proceeds go to charity.

The Food Network is getting ready to air the sophomore season of "The Next Food Network Star". Bobby Flay, Rachael Ray , Giada De Laurentiis, Mario Batali, Paula Deen and Alton Brown all will contribute and "join in the fun" and "...help weed out the competition." Show begins on March 19th, at 9pm.
